I checked off a major bucket list item: to take a train across the country on my own. After attending the San Francisco Pen Show in 2025, I hopped on Amtrak's California Zephyr to Chicago and then the Lake Shore Limited route home to New York City. The journey was an unforgettable one, but just in case I ever do, I decided to document the experience.
